Lecturer
Ms. Yasuko Shono — sound environment designer, lecturer at Department of Environmental Science, Musashino University
Having completed the course of music study at the Graduate School of Tokyo Gakugei University and engaged in surveys and research in sound environments, she practices sound environment design and has received various awards in Japan and overseas. She worked on the sound environment design, named “coMIMInication”, in Chino Cultural Complex, and continues to work in soundscape workshops in association with the design. She is the program director of the project “PLAY with Soundscapes — Explore Their Potential”.

Shintaro Imai — composer, sound artist, lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music
His creative works are based on trimming and biasing the sound and microscopic vibration of various materials. Having studied at Kunitachi College of Music and IRCAM Paris, he engaged in research at ZKM in Germany as an oversea artist trainee dispatched from the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and later, in creative production at the Berlin Institute of Technology as a guest DAAD Berlin Artist. He often serves as music director for Bauhaus theatrical performances at the Bauhaus-Dessau Foundation.
